Emil Heinrich Meyer

Emil Heinrich Meyer ( born May 6, 1886 in Wiesbaden, † May 9, 1945 in Berlin) was a German manager and honorary professor at the Graduate School of Berlin.

Life

Meyer was a doctorate in law and a doctorate in economy. In 1924, he was general counsel for the co-operative department of Dresdner Bank. He was since 1934 Board member of the Dresdner Bank. Meyer, a cousin Wilhelm Keppler, in 1932 a member of the Keppler Circle, later Friends of Reichsführer- SS.

1933 Meyer joined the NSDAP and was Standartenführer of the SS 1935 he was appointed Honorary Professor of Cooperative Studies at the Berlin School of Economics and a member of the National Socialist German Law Academy.

He was a director of AEG and Mix & Genest by Standard Elektrik Lorenz and both companies are subsidiaries of American ITT. These companies contributed during the Second World War payments to Heinrich Himmler in order to protect the investment in the ITT Bremer aircraft manufacturer Focke- Wulf.

According to Jan Erik Schulte Meyer put 1943 " special importance to carry the accounts of the Osti in his house ."

On 9 May 1945, Meyer took in Berlin life.
