Emily McLaughlin

Emily McLaughlin ( born December 1, 1928 in White Plains, New York, † 26 April 1991) was an American actress.

My acting debut was in 1958 in the series Young Dr. Malone as Dr. Eileen Seaton. From 1963 until her death in 1991 she starred in the soap opera General Hospital as head nurse Jessie Brewer. In 1974 she received a Golden Globe nomination for her role. In 1982, she starred in the movie Kiss me Doc.

She was married in first marriage to actor Kenneth Harlan. From 1956 to 1968, actor Robert Lansing. The couple had a child together. In 1969 she married actor Jeffrey Hunter, who but shortly afterwards died of a stroke.

Emily McLaughlin died of cancer and was buried alongside her last husband Jeffrey Hunter in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Sylmar, California.
