Emma Jackson (triathlete)
Emma Jackson ( born August 20, 1991 Joyner, Brisbane, Queensland) is an Australian professional triathlete, U23 World Champion of 2010 and Junior Vice World Champion of 2009.
Career
In the four years from 2007 to 2010 Jackson took part in 16 ITU competitions and came up eleven times among the top ten. Since it is endowed with $ 12,000 Noosa Triathlon won in Australia on 1 November 2009, Emma Jackson is often mentioned in the Australian media in the same breath as the three world- famous Australian triathletes same name: Emma Carney, Emma Snowsill and Emma Moffatt.
Emma Jackson coach is Stephen Moss of Pine Rivers Triathlon Club, who is also an elite triathlon center of the State of Queensland ( Queensland Academy of Sport ) is derived
In 2010, Emma Jackson also as the elite gain for the club TCG 79 Parthenay on the French Club Championship Series Lyonnaise des Eaux in part. In Paris (18 July 2010) was her second and fourth club in Tours or Tourangeaux (29 August 2010) Ninth or her club fifth. At the Grand Final in La Baule ( Triathlon Audencia ) 18 September 2010, barely a week after her World Championship Gold Race in Budapest, she was 16, her fourth club. Jackson thus was always among the three triathletes classants l' équipe whose individual rating determines the rank of their club. In La Baule all three triathletes classants their French clubs were incidentally foreign elite Guest Stars: Ainhoa Murua was 11, Nicky Samuels 13 and Jackson 16
The Australian Triathlon Federation nominated Jackson for a starting spot in the Olympics, along with Erin Densham and Emma Moffatt. She won in London in August 2012 to eighth place.
Emma Jackson now lives with her partner Drew in Brisbane.
