Emma Paterson
Emma Patterson (* 1848, † 1886) was an English suffragette.
Life
In 1874, Patterson founded the Women's Protective and Provident League (later the Women's Trade Union League) a trade union of working women. For example, a strike of weavers was organized in Dewsbury.
Patterson stressed the importance of women in the labor movement.
