Emmy Lopes Dias

Emmy Lopes Dias ( * August 4, 1919 in Hilversum, † 28 March 2005 in Laren ) was a Dutch actress.

She was known to millions of viewers in the 1970s by the television series De Kleine Waarheid in which she played the mother of Willeke Alberti.

Lopes Dias studied acting at the theater school in Amsterdam. She graduated in 1949 cum laude. As a result, she took engagements at at various theater companies, including the Haagsche Comedie. After the birth of her first child, she was increasingly working for radio and television.

Lopes Dias died in March 2005 at the age of 85 years in a retirement home in Laren.
