Emperor Keikō

Keiko (Japanese景行 天皇, Keiko - tennō; born November 7, 60; † December 23 130) was according to the old history books the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki the 12th Tenno of Japan ( 71-130 ). Most historians consider him to be a mythological figure that is not based on historical facts.

Kojiki and Nihon Shoki tell different versions of his story. In Kojiki he sent his son, Prince Yamatotakeru, after Kyūshū to attack the local tribes. In Nihonshoki Keiko moved there himself. Both sources Judging he sent Yamatotakeru in the Izumo province and the eastern provinces to accept this and its territory to expand.
