The Empress Augusta Bay (English Empress Augusta Bay ) is a large bay in front of the Torokina district of the island of Bougainville in Papua New Guinea.

The bay was named at the time of affiliation of the island of Bougainville to the German colony of German New Guinea to Augusta of Saxe- Weimar -Eisenach, wife of Kaiser Wilhelm I, Empress Augusta Bay and kept this name anglicized form.

On 1 and 2 November 1943 was held at the Empress Augusta Bay between the Japanese army and U.S. troops the Battle of Empress Augusta Bay instead.
