Empress Bian (Cao Huan)

Empress Bian (Chinese卞 皇后, Pinyin Bian Buánghòu, maiden name unknown) was a Chinese Empress of the Wei Dynasty to the Three Kingdoms period. Her husband was Cao Huan ( Emperor Yuan ), the last emperor of the Wei Dynasty. She was a granddaughter of Bian Bing, the brother of Cao Cao and brother of Empress Dowager Bian.

Cao Huan Bian married in the year 263, when he was 17 years old. Bians age is unknown. There is no record of their further activity since her husband was under the firm control of Sima Zhao. About her life after the abdication of Cao Huan's in favor of Sima Yan, there are also no records. Since her husband was appointed Prince of Chenliu, she was probably Princess of Chenliu. After her title, she received a posthumous imperial title whose articulation is not obtained.
