En Vogue

En Vogue (Fr. "fashionable" ) is a US-based, all-female R & B and soul band from Oakland.

History

En Vogue was founded by the American Hitproduzenten Denzil Foster and Thomas McElroy, formerly members of the disco group Club Nouveau in 1988. The original lineup consisted of former Miss Black California Cindy Herron, Maxine Jones, Dawn Robinson and Terry Ellis, all the original members are active in the current occupation from 2006 except Dawn Robinson still or again, along with newcomer Rhona Bennett.

En Vogue have sold over 18 million albums and singles worldwide. They have won seven MTV Video Music Awards, more than any other girl group in MTV history. The group was named by Billboard Magazine as the second most successful group of the 1990s and the 18th - most successful act of the 1990s at all.

Among the best known hits include the title My Lovin ' ( You're Never Gonna Get It), Free Your Mind, Whatta Man, and Do not Let Go (Love).

Was published in 2004, the date last studio album Soul Flower. A year later, in 2005, the group earned a Grammy nomination for her work with Stevie Wonder and Prince on the common single So What The Foot.

In October 2007, a new single was released as Glamorous collaboration with the Belgian singer Natalia in the Benelux countries. 2008 En Vogue were in Belgium with Natalia on two sold-out show - concerts at the Sportpaleis ( Antwerp). Another special guest was also Shaggy. The Konzertduo 2008 went under Natalia Meets En Vogue feat. Shaggy 2008.
