Enrique O. Aragón

Enrique O. Aragon ( born March 22, 1880 in Mexico City, † 1942) was a Mexican physician and philosopher and briefly Rector of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México ( UNAM).

Biography

After attending the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria (ENP ) Aragón studied from 1898-1904 at the Escuela Nacional de Medicina. He was Professor of Psychology and Ethics at the Escuela Nacional de Altos Estudios ( ENAE ) and for medical and history and anatomy at the Escuela Nacional de Medicina. In 1907 he became secretary of the ENP and 1910 at the ENAE. He specialized in the areas of neurology and psychiatry and dealt especially with experimental psychology. In 1932 he became director of the Faculty of Philosophy ( formerly ENEA ) of the UNAM, on 27 October he was up to the November 26, 1934 Rector of the UNAM.
