Enter Air

Enter Air is a Polish charter airline based in Warsaw and based on the Warsaw Chopin Airport.

History

The charter flight market in Poland to 2009 marked by foreign airlines and Central Wings, the subsidiary of state-owned airline LOT. After Central Wings due to financial problems after 31 May 2009 ceased flight operations, a development opportunity for an independent Polish charter company offered. Enter Air was founded in 2010. The first commercial flight took place on 25 April 2010 by Warsaw to Enfidha in Tunisia instead.

On February 26, 2013 it was announced that Return Air takes delivery planned by XL Airways Germany charter flights from the airports of Rostock, Erfurt and Kassel. XL Airways Germany has filed for insolvency in December 2012, leaving the flight operations have been suspended since.

On March 19, 2013 it was announced that Return Air but not now takes on the scheduled flights from XL Airways Germany. The airline backed down shortly before the start of the summer timetable.

Destinations

From Warsaw Chopin Airport and Katowice airport from holiday destinations are served with a focus on the Mediterranean.

Fleet

As of November 2013, the fleet of Enter Air consists of 13 aircraft with an average age of 16.7 years:

  • 8 Boeing 737-400
  • 5 Boeing 737-800 (2 equipped with winglets )
