Sluices, canals and pumps are today characteristic of the landscape around Eraclea.

Tourism

Tourism plays itself largely on the lido " Eraclea Mare ". At a three kilometer long beach which is nestled in a pine forest, there are about 20 hotels, two campsites and a number of holiday homes and apartments as well as some communes within the forest. The beach is shallow and therefore Eracleamare is especially popular with families with children, not least from Germany. In the vicinity are the popular resorts of Jesolo and Caorle. At the municipal boundary between Jesolo and Eraclea is the Laguna del Mort, one from all sides surrounded with dunes and pine lagoon, which forms a popular habitat for birds. The beach of Laguna del Mort is one of the most beautiful in Italy.
