Erdut Agreement

The agreement Erdut of 12 November 1995 ( officially: Basic Agreement on the territory of Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Westsyrmiens ) is a closed in the Croatian community Erdut agreement between the Republic of Croatia and the then Serb de facto regime of East Croatia. It regulates the integration of Eastern Slavonia, Baranja and Westsyrmiens in the Croatian territory, which is part of the internationally unrecognized Republic of Serbian Krajina in Croatia were war. The integration was carried out in contrast to the areas in central and southern Croatia in a peaceful manner.

The parties requested the United Nations to find a maximum two-year transitional administration that began the UN Security Council in January 1996 with the armed Untaes mission.
