Éric Deflandre

Eric Deflandre ( born August 2, 1973 in Rocourt ) is a Belgian football player (right defender) playing currently for Lierse SK.

Career

Deflandre first signed in Wandre Union, but after a year he joined the Giants FC Liege. He then left him in 1995 Germinal Ekeren direction. Deflandre made ​​his debut for the Belgian national team against the Netherlands in the qualifying round for the World Cup 1998. 1996 he signed with FC Bruges. In the first game of the 1998 World Cup, he replaced 22 minutes into Bertrand Crasson, the Boudewijn Zenden covered and helped Belgium to keep the 0-0 draw against the Netherlands.
