Eric Malpass

Eric Lawson Malpass ( born November 14, 1910 in Derby, † 16 October 1996) was an English writer.

Life

Eric Malpass has worked as a bank clerk in Central England before 1947 took up his position at the BBC. He was an employee at several major newspapers, as well as the Observer, whose short story competition he won in 1954. In 1960, his novel Beefy is guilty of everything (English Original Title: Beefy Jones) awarded in Italy with the Palme d'Or for the best humorous book this year.
