Éric Mouloungui

Éric Mouloungui ( born April 1, 1984 in Port-Gentil, Gabon ) is a Gabonese footballer who also has French nationality.

Career

Association

Èric Mouloungui began playing football in his native Gabon Mbilinga FC and AS MangaSport, where he was able to achieve 35 goals in 37 league games between 2000 and 2002. With the AS MangaSport he won both the championship, as well as the Cup and the Supercup. He moved to France in late 2002 and played in the CFA 2 ( 5 league) for AS Pierrot Vauban Strasbourg. However, his talent did great local rivals from the Ligue 1, Racing Strasbourg, not hidden, so that Éric Mouloungui already moved on to Racing Strasbourg in early 2003. With the U-19 he was in the finals of the Coupe Gambardella. In racing, he could, after some initial difficulties, ultimately prevail and completed between 2003 and 2008 a total of 102 games in which he scored 17 goals. In 2006, he was loaned to second division side FC Gueugnon. In 2008 he left Racing Strasbourg and finally moved to OGC Nice. Here he played between 2008 and 2012 a total of 106 times in Ligue 1 and scored 18 goals. 2012 moved Mouloungui to Abu Dhabi to Al Wahda. However, the local coach Branko Ivankovic did not put on him and he came in just one league game for use. End of February 2013 Mouloungui was loaned to the end of season 2012/ 13 at the Polish first division champions and Slask Wroclaw.

National

Since 2005, Éric Mouloungui plays for the Gabonese national football team, with whom he took part in the African Cup of Nations in 2010 and 2012.
