Eric Obinna Chukwunyelu

Eric Obinna Chukwunyelu ( born June 10, 1981 in Owerri ) is a Nigerian football player, who also has French citizenship.

Career as a player

Obinna played in his youth for the Nigerian club Iwuanyanwu Comets and in Brazil the EC Vitória. 1998 Obinna was obliged by professional English club Arsenal, where he received but despite five- year contract no work permit and was loaned to AS Saint Etienne. When he returned after the season 1999 /00 from France of Red Star Paris to London, Obinna again received a work permit at Arsenal and it was followed by another loan to France, this time to FC Rouen.
