Eric Owen Moss

Eric Owen Moss ( b. 1943 in Los Angeles, California) is an American architect. He lives and works in Culver City, California.

Biography

Moss graduated in 1965 with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. He then graduated to 1968 a postgraduate degree of Master of Architecture at the College of Industrial Design at the University of California at Berkeley and then to 1972 for Master of Architecture from the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Moss, of his own architectural firm EOM Architects passes in Culver City, since 1973 numerous buildings designed in the United States and in other countries. His work has been exhibited several times internationally and published his books and monographs in many countries.

He teaches design at the Southern California Institute of Architecture in Los Angeles and passes it as a director. He also taught as a professor at Columbia and Rice University, Harvard Graduate School of Design at the University of California at Los Angeles and at other universities around the world, for example in Copenhagen and Vienna.

Moss, who is also a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects ( AIA), received approximately 80 major design awards and accolades.
