Erik August Larsson

Erik August Larsson ( born April 20, 1912 in Kurravaara, † 10 March 1982 in Jukkasjärvi ) was a Swedish cross-country skier.

At the Olympic Games in 1936 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, he was Olympic champion on the 18 km route. He was awarded the Svenska Dagbladet Gold Medal - For this performance.

1938 Larsson was Laestadianer and stopped with Skilangläufen. He was a preacher in the Community laestadianischen in Kiruna, Sweden. Erik Larsson is the grandfather of Swedish crime author Åsa Larsson.
