Erik-Reger-Preis

The Erik Reger price is an award since 1999 Prize of the "Future initiative Rheinland-Pfalz" ( ZIRP ). He recognizes outstanding representations of modern life and work.

The price wants to stimulate greater public discussion of the role of business and trade in social life. This is done in the tradition of its namesake Erik Reger ( 1893-1954 ). Born in Bendorf on the Rhine writer, journalist and publicist wrote in his 1931 novel, Union of the firm hand of the most important industrial novel of the 20th century.

The jury of Erik Reger Prize include the literary critic of the SWR, Martin Lüdke, Sigfrid Gauch (literary consultant in the Ministry of Culture of Rhineland -Palatinate ), Klaus Arp for the Board of ZIRP and a / e Representative / In the literature and the book trade and a representatives of the State of Rhineland- Palatinate.
