Érika de Souza

Érika Cristina de Souza ( born March 3, 1982 in Brazil) is a professional basketball player. She currently plays for the Atlanta Dream in the Women's National Basketball Association.

Erika Desouza was never selected in a WNBA Draft, but was taken in 2002 as a free agent by the Los Angeles Sparks under contract. In the 2002 season they played eleven games for the Sparks. After this season, she left the WNBA, playing for the UB- Barça in the Spanish Women's Basketball League. In the season 2005/ 06 she was named MVP of the league. In 2007, she returned to the WNBA and played in the 2007 season for the Connecticut Sun. On February 6, 2008, she was selected by the Atlanta Dream in the expansion draft. Thus, since the 2008 season, she plays for the Dream.
