Erisos (Greek Έρισος, formerly Erissos Έρισσος ( m. sg. ) ) Was until 2010 a municipality on the island of Kefalonia. It consisted mainly of the same northern peninsula. The seat of the municipality was in Vasilikades ( Βασιλικιάδες ), significant and well-known, however, are the small ports Fiskardo and Assos and Myrtos beach, the Erisos shared with Pylaros. Erisos went with the administrative reform in 2010 in the newly created municipality of Cephalonia, where it has since formed a district.

The municipality had in ancient times a certain importance and independence, only the construction of a paved road through the territory of the municipality at the beginning of the 19th century castle at this more closely to the rest of the island.
