Erkki Pukka

Erkki Pukka is a former Finnish ski jumper.

Career

Pukka, who started for the club Hiihtoseura Lahti Lahti, first appeared in the Four Hills Tournament 1964/65 international appearance. He surprised after a rather disappointing 39th place in Oberstdorf by winning the New Year's competition in Garmisch -Partenkirchen. In Innsbruck he missed his second podium in fourth. After he did not go to the starting line in Bischofshofen, he landed at the end on the seventh rank of the tour overall standings. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1966 in Oslo, he reached the 59th place in the individual on the normal hill. After two years of touring break, he came back in to the Four Hills Tournament 1966/67, but could not build on the successes of 1964 /65. Best place was a 27th rank in Oberstdorf. In the end he was ranked 42 overall.
