Erling Kroken

Erling Kroken ( born November 12, 1928) is a former Norwegian ski jumper.

His first great success was achieved Kroken by winning the Norwegian Championship 1951 in Narvik, where he set a new hill record on the Fagerlibakken with 78.5 m. When jumping on the Skuibakken in Bærum in the same year he won with 83.5 meters. Two years later he was part of the Norwegian team for the first Four Hills Tournament 1953. Doing so, he won the second competition on January 4, 1954 in Oberstdorf, having already reached the 8th place in Partenkirchen January 1. In the third competition in Bischofshofen, he came on the 9th Place. In the overall standings, he got away with it on the 11th Place. In the Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun, Sweden 1954 he finished seventh at the end.
