Ernest Mühlen

Ernest Mills ( born June 8, 1926 in Ettelbrück, † March 19, 2014 ) was a Luxembourgian politician of the CSV.

Biography

Mills was 1973-1979 Member of the Municipal Council of the city of Luxembourg and 1979-1982 State Secretary of Finance. From 1982-1984 he was Minister of Agriculture, Assistant Minister of Finance and from 1984 to 1989 member of the European Parliament. Between 1989-1991 as deputy Luxembourg and from 1991 to 1996, he was Luxembourg's representative on the Board of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London.
