Ernest Starling

Ernest Henry Starling ( born April 17, 1866 in London, † May 2, 1927 in Kingston Harbour, Jamaica ) was an English physiologist.

1896 presented Starling on named after him Starling equation. In 1905 he introduced the concept of the hormone. In 1904 he gave the Croonian lecture to the Royal Society, 1905 Croonian Lectures of the Royal College of Physicians.

1913 Starling was awarded the Royal Medal of the Royal Society.
