Ernesto Azzini

Ernesto Azzini ( born October 17, 1885 in Rodigo; † July 14, 1923 in Milan ) was an Italian cyclist.

Azzini is the brother of former professional cyclists Azzini Luigi and Giuseppe Azzini. In 1910 Azzini was the first Italian cyclist to win a stage of the Tour de France. In the same year he also won a stage of the Giro d' Italia 1910. His second leg of this tour, he won in 1912. His nickname was El du meter. Azzini could win a total of nine stage wins in major races.
