Ernie Adams (footballer born 1922)

Ernest W. " Ernie " Adams ( born April 3, 1922 in Willesden ) is a former English footballer.

Career

The diminutive winger came in early 1945 to Preston North End in March 1947 and moved on to Fulham. In September 1947, he joined Queens Park Rangers, for whom he came in the late phase when winning the third division championship of the season 1947/48 to two inserts. In the following season in the Second Division, he came to three other stakes, 1950, he left QPR. Over the next few years nothing is known, from 1955 to 1957 he played for amateur club FC Dover in Kent League. The season 1957/58 he spent at Premier League rivals FC Margate, before continuing his career at Clacton Town in the Southern League.
