Ernst Karlberg

Ernst Wilhelm Ludvig Karlberg ( born October 12, 1901 in Stockholm, † March 20, 1987 ) was a Swedish professional ice hockey player.

Career

At club level Ernst Karlberg played exclusively in his hometown for the Djurgårdens IF. From 1921 to 1932, he joined with his team in the Swedish Championship. In the season of 1926 he won the national championship with Djurgårdens IF.

Internationally

For Sweden, Karlberg participated in the Olympic Winter Games in 1924 in Chamonix and 1928 in St. Moritz in part. At the Winter Games in 1928 he won the silver medal with his team. As the best European team at the Olympic Winter Games he also won the European Championship with his team.
