Ernst Savkovic

Ernst Savkovic ( born August 23, 1953 in Heppenheim, circle mountain road ) - actually Savkovic August - is a former German football player.

Playing career

Ernst Savkovic went through all the junior teams of FC Sportfreunde Heppenheim. The defensive player joined in 1970 as A Teenager to Kickers Offenbach and debuted on November 7, 1971 at the qualifying match for the UEFA youth tournament in 1972 in Ronneby against Sweden in the youth national team. The 1-1 draw, he formed together with Helmut Roleder ( goalkeeper ), Herbert Hein, Karl -Heinz Korbel and Klaus Bruckmann the defense of the trained coach Herbert Widmayer DFB team. He had been recommended in the matches of the DFB Cup Youth countries in October in the selection of Southern Germany on the side of Stefan Gross and Kurt Eigl. But in the UEFA youth tournament in 1972 in Spain, he did not participate. In 1975, he became a military world champion ( with such well-known players in the team as: Ronald Worm, Dieter Burdenski, Klaus Topp Möller, Ditmar Jakobs, Karl -Heinz Korbel ). In 1974 he moved to Borussia Dortmund, where he came to 52 missions until 1976. In 1976 he moved to Tennis Borussia Berlin for which he came to 42 inserts and 1979 zuRot -Weiß Oberhausen. For RWO he played 33 games in the Bundesliga 2.
