Esko Seppänen
Esko Seppänen ( * February 15, 1946 in Oulu, Finland) is a Finnish politician and current member of the European Parliament for the Finnish Left Alliance, as part of the Confederal Group of the European United Left.
Seppänen made 1971 his state examination in economics. From 1970 to 1987 he was a journalist with the broadcaster Yleisradio. He then became a member of the Finnish Parliament. In 1996 he moved to the European Parliament.
