The Esporte Clube Noroeste Bauru Bauru is a football club from Brazil.

History

The, often called EC Noroeste only " Noroeste " was established on 1 September 1910 as Sport Club Noroeste, the same day as Corinthians São Paulo, one of the most popular football clubs in Brazil. 1943 won the Campeonato do Interior, which was the most prestigious tournament in the state of São Paulo at the time. In 1948 it was then a professional team.

1953 first participated at the State Championship of São Paulo. Until 1966 the club played with the star players Julião, Toninho Guerreiro and Zé Carlos against the best clubs in São Paulo. After that, it managed Noroeste until the 1980s with the top players Jairzinho and Lorico repeatedly ascend and descend. In 1978, they played in the national first division, the Campeonato Brasileiro de Futebol.

The 1990s were the worst period in their history; one rose twice (1994 and 1999) from the Série A3. 2005, the club rose again with their star players Lenilson and Rodrigo Tiuí on in the Série A1. 2006, the EC Noroeste fifth in the state championship, which meant the best placement of the clubs in their club's history.
