The Estádio Municipal José Bento Pessoa is in the Portuguese city of Figueira da Foz in the District of Coimbra and is primarily used for football. It is the venue of the Naval 1 º de Maio and has 10,000 spectator seats (8000 seats). The municipal stadium was opened in 1953 and is named after the Portuguese born in Figueira da Foz cyclist José Bento Pessoa ( 1874-1954 ). The playing field surrounds an athletics running track.
