Estelle Reiner
Estelle (b. Estelle Lebost; * June 5, 1914; † 25 October 2008) was an American actress and singer.
She was the wife of the director and actor Carl Reiner and mother of director Rob Reiner and writer Annie Reiner and Lucas Reiner of the artist.
Life
Reiner was born in 1914 in the Bronx as Estelle Lebost. In her early years she was active as a painter and artist. In 1943 she married Carl Reiner. From this marriage sprang three children: Rob, Annie and Lucas Reiner.
After minor roles in comedies such as The Man with Two Brains or Hot to Trot 1989 followed a short but succinct role in the staged by her son Rob romantic comedy When Harry Met Sally. In the famous scene in which Meg Ryan faked an orgasm that shown by Reiner elderly lady at the next table asked the waiter " exactly what she had " ( " I'll have what she 's having "). The American Film Institute chose the set of the top 100 movie quotes from U.S. films of all time at number 33

With 65 years Reiner started performing as a singer. Between 1995 and 2004 created seven music albums.
She died on 25 October 2008 at the age of 94 years in Beverly Hills, Calif. of natural causes.
