Esther Ouwehand

Esther Ouwehand ( born June 10, 1976 in Katwijk ) is a Dutch politician of the Partij voor de Dieren ( PvdD ).

Together with Marianne Thieme it forms since 30 November 2006, the Group of PvdD in the Second Chamber of the Dutch Parliament. In 2012, she represented Thieme during her maternity leave as Group Chairman. She is also coordinator of the party headquarters since 2004.

Ouwehand has Policy, Communication and Organization at the Free University of Amsterdam studies (no diploma ). She has been marketing manager of a publisher of youth magazines and has worked in youth services.

Esther Ouwehand is a vegetarian. She is married and lives in Leiden.
