Rivière Etchemin is a right tributary of the St. Lawrence River in the Chaudière - Appalaches administrative region of the Canadian province of Quebec.
The river has its origin in the Monts Notre -Dame, a northern foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. From there it flows over a distance of 98 km in a north-westerly direction to the St. Lawrence River, where it flows west of Lévis on the south bank opposite the city of Québec. On the river are the towns of Saint -Anselme Saint -Henri, as well as the southern suburbs of the provincial capital of Quebec.
