Ethiopian Football Federation

The Ethiopian Football Federation (English Ethiopian Football Federation, EFF) is the organization of football in Ethiopia.

It was founded in 1943, member of FIFA in 1953 and 1957 a member of the Confédération Africaine de Football. It organizes the national football league and the Ethiopian national football team of men and women.

The current president of the EFF is Sahlu Gebrewold Gebremariam.

Suspension by FIFA

On 29 July 2008, the EFF was suspended by FIFA. Following the resignation of the then Association President Ashebir Woldegiorgis on 16 May 2009 and re-election of a president 's suspension of the Association July 18, 2009 was canceled.
