Etofenamate, also 2 - (2 -hydroxyethoxy ) ethyl N-(3 -trifluoromethylphenyl) anthranilate Etofenamatum is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug selected from the group of the anthranilic acid derivatives. The drug is used externally for inflammation -related musculoskeletal pain.
Etofenamate was developed by Karl -Heinz Boltze at the Tropon works in Cologne- Mülheim.
