Eudaimonia

The eudaemonism also eudaimonism, (from ancient Greek. Ευδαιμονια bliss) is a philosophical doctrine or attitude in the field of ethics, which, that is, the happiness that gelingende or the good life looks at the eudaimonia as the goal of all efforts.

The term includes various bliss teachings. Basically, two types can be distinguished: one that refers to the act itself or the happiness as a goal. The latter form also opens the possibility for a teleological ethics.

Eudämonisten evaluate quality of life according to objective elements such as success in achieving specific goals. So you have a different question than hedonists who are interested in the subjective perception of happiness. Objective success and really sincere happiness are two different criteria considered purely logical contradictions can coexist. However, a contrast is considered by many Eudämonisten constructed because people put different priorities and thus rather their subjective perception of happiness rather than objective successes are actively seeking.
