Europa Hut

The Euro Lodge is a Swiss mountain hut on the west side of the mixing Abel massif. It is located above Randa and below the Cathedral at an altitude of 2,220 m above sea level. M.

It is located at the junction of the road to the Domhütte and Europe pathway and is an important base of this level trail. It was built from 1998 to 1999 and part of the municipality of Randa. It is cultivated only in the summer and has no winter room.

Rise

The direct ascent is from Randa ( 1,439 m) over the Lärchberg in 2 ¼ hours.

Mountain tours and transition to other huts

A steep ascent leads to the southeast to Domhütte ( 2,940 m), from there you can climb the peaks of the Mischabel Massif.

From the hut Europe runs the European lead in a northerly direction across the Bordierhütte by Bern. To the south runs the European goes to Zermatt.
