European University of Tirana

The European University of Tirana (Albanian Universiteti Europian i Tiranës, short UET ) is a private university in the Albanian capital Tirana. With almost 3,000 students, it is one of the largest private universities in the state.

The UET was established in 2006 by six academics and has three faculties:

  • Faculty of Law
  • Faculty of Social and Communication Sciences
  • Faculty of Economics

The University has close ties with various universities, including with Aston University in Birmingham, the Assas University in Paris, the University of Bari, Bar-Ilan University in Tel Aviv, the University of Montenegro, the South East European University in the world Tetovo and the University of Aix -Marseille.
