Evanton

Evanton or Baile Eoghainn is a town with 1130 inhabitants ( 2004 estimate ) in the Scottish region of Ross -shire, Highland. The town is located 24 km north of Inverness, ten miles north-west of Dingwall and 6.5 km south-east of Alness. Evan Fraser of Balconie founded the place in 1807.
