Evelyn Finley
Evelyn Ruth Finley ( born March 11, 1916 in Douglas, Arizona; † 7 April 1989 in Big Bear City, California ) was an American actress and stunt woman.
Finley was a good rider and starred in about twenty films of the 1940s, the female heroine on the side of Western celebrities such as Tom Keene, Tex Ritter and The Range Busters. But mostly she worked as a stunt double for many female stars of the time. Under the name Eve Anderson she played the lead role in one of the last serial, Perils of the wilderness (1956). After the decline of the B- movie production, she moved to television and brought their skills in many series. Also the movie they remained connected, most recently at Silverado.
From 1956 to about 1960, she was married to Mr Lee Roberts, who disappeared one day in mysterious ways.
