Evelyne Hall

Evelyne Ruth Hall ( born September 10, 1909 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, † 20 April 1993 in Oceanside, California ) was an American track and field athlete and Olympian.

Evelyne Hall was a three -time U.S. champion in the 80 - meter hurdles in the Hall (1931, 1933 and 1935) and winner of the U.S. Championships 1930.

In the X. Olympic Summer Games 1932 in Los Angeles, she won the silver medal in the 80 - meter hurdles behind Mildred Didrikson ( gold ) and before the South African Marjorie Clark ( bronze). In the XI. 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, she placed 4th.
