The city of Everett is the county seat of Snohomish County in the U.S. state of Washington. Everett has according to the census of the United States Census Bureau 103 019 inhabitants (as of 2010) over an area of 123.4 km ². In 1892, Henry Hewitt along with Charles Colby and Colgate Hoyt to build the Everett Land Company with the aim of a city. The city was named after the son of Charles Colby.
1994 was opened on the territory of the city, the Naval Station Everett, a base of the United States Navy.
