Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum

The Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum is an aviation museum in McMinnville in the State of Oregon. It was founded in 1991 by Captain Michael King Smith, the son of Delford M. Smith, founder of Evergreen International Aviation. Evergreen International Aviation is the parent company of the airline Evergreen International Airlines.

The approximately 37,000 -square-foot museum building houses a collection of rare aircraft, aircraft instruments and a museum shop. The centerpiece of the museum is the constructed by Howard Hughes Hughes H -4 " Spruce Goose ", which arrived in McMinnville in pieces in 1993 and was assembled by the end of 2001.
