Evgeni Paladiev

Yevgeny Ivanovich Paladjew (Russian: Евгений Иванович Паладьев; born May 12, 1948 in Ust- Kamenogorsk, Kazakh SSR, † January 9, 2010 in Moscow) was a Soviet ice hockey player.

Career

Yevgeny Paladjew began his career in 1965 in the second Soviet League Torpedo Ust- Kamenogorsk. In February 1968, the defender moved to the Soviet Erstligisten HK Spartak Moscow, where he played until 1975. He then played one season each at MWO Lipetsk SKA and Torpedo Yaroslavl, before he ended his active career of only 29 years. In the elite class of the USSR Paladjew completed 212 games in which reach 25 goals in him.

Paladjew was called 68 times in the Soviet national team and won in 1969, 1970 and 1973 World Championships, while the defender scored nine goals. For the Soviet Union, he also played five games during the Summit Series in 1972.

1969 Paladjew was awarded the Honored Master of Sports of the USSR.
