Evgeny Grachyov

Yevgeny Igorewitsch Grachev (Russian: Евгений Игоревич Грачёв; born 21 February 1990 in Khabarovsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player standing since June 2011 with the St. Louis Blues in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Evgeny Grachev began his career as a hockey player at youth level of Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, for the first team, he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 2007/ 08 season. However, this remained his only use for Yaroslavl, since it ran aground otherwise for the second team in the third-class Perwaja league. In 2008 NHL Entry Draft, the attacker was selected in the third round as 75th player of the New York Rangers. First, however, he spent one season with the Brampton Battalion in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League, before he became the 2009/10 season, divided into the squad of New York's farm team, the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League. This is end of November 2010 renamed in Connecticut Whale.

On 25 June 2011, the Rangers gave him off in exchange for a third-round vote in NHL Entry Draft 2011 for the St. Louis Blues.

Internationally

For Russia Grachev took part in the U18 World Youth Championship in 2008, and the U20 Junior World Championship 2009 part.
