Extreme Ghostbusters is an American animated television series and its successor series of the animated series The Real Ghostbusters Slimer or! And The Real Ghostbusters, based on the movie Ghostbusters - based Ghostbusters (1984). The plot is based on the same principle: Four ghost hunters hunt with proton emitters ghosts and catch them with their "ghost trap".
