History

The Fachhochschule Münster was founded on 1 August 1971 as one of 15 colleges in North Rhine -Westphalia, as eight predecessor institutions and the newly established departments economy and social services were merged into one new university. The Fachhochschule Münster is divided into twelve departments ( FB ) and two central fold cross-divisional facilities:

FB 1: Chemical Engineering

FB 3: Mechanical Engineering
